Privacy policy

Last updated 19 September 2026

Ulterium Ltd ("we", "us") is a company based in the United Kingdom. Upsell is our sales platform. This policy explains what personal data we collect through this website, why we collect it, and the rights you have over it. It does not cover the Upsell software itself: if you are a customer of a shop that runs on Upsell, that shop is the data controller for your order and account data, and its own privacy policy applies.

What we collect

  • Demo request form — when you ask for a demo we receive the name, email address and message you provide. Your IP address is used at the time of submission to limit automated spam.
  • Server logs — like almost every website, our server keeps routine logs (IP address, pages requested, browser type) for security and reliability.

What we don't do

This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics, advertising or tracking of any kind. Everything the site loads — its typefaces and images included — is served from our own server, so no third party receives data about your visit. We do not sell or trade personal data.

About the demo on this site

The moving shop, till and admin screens on the home page are an illustration built into the page itself. The shop name, products, customer names and order numbers in it are invented, no data is sent anywhere, and nothing you do on that page is recorded.

Why we process your data

We process demo requests and enquiries on the basis of our legitimate interest in responding to the people who write to us, and server logs on the basis of our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure and available.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept for as long as needed to deal with them and any follow-up. Server logs are rotated routinely.

Who we share it with

Our hosting and email providers process data on our behalf in order to deliver the site and our mailboxes. Beyond that, we don't share personal data with anyone unless the law requires it.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask us for access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, ask us to restrict or object to processing, and request a copy in a portable format. To exercise any of these, send us a message. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.

Changes

If we change how the site handles personal data — for example by adding analytics — we will update this page and the date above.
